On the night of March 6, 2026, a dispute in the Sunset Park neighborhood of Brooklyn turned fatal, claiming the life of 14-year-old Johary Cantave. The young boy was a passenger in a car, being driven home by his friend's father, Pedro Castellano, at approximately 11:40 p.m. They were near the intersection of 46th Street and Ninth Avenue, following Castellano's son who was on a moped.
