In the early morning hours of September 3, 2016, a burst of gunfire shattered the peace at the Kingsborough Houses in Crown Heights, Brooklyn, tragically ending the life of 22-year-old Luis Zuniga. A resident of East New York, Zuniga was at a party in the housing project when the incident occurred around 4 a.m. He suffered multiple gunshot wounds to his torso and was rushed to Interfaith Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
