James Bowie, a 39-year-old resident of Brooklyn, NY, was tragically shot and killed on December 15, 2020. The incident occurred around 11:30 p.m. on Cleveland Street near Fulton Street in East New York. According to police reports, Bowie was found unconscious and unresponsive in the middle of the road with a gunshot wound to his chest. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) rushed him to Brookdale University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead shortly after arrival.
