In the late hours of a Tuesday evening in the Starrett City neighborhood of Brooklyn, New York, a tragic event unfolded that would cut short the life of 38-year-old Kahliq Francis. On November 21, 2017, inside his 16th-floor apartment on Pennsylvania Avenue, a violent encounter left Francis with a fatal gunshot wound to the head.
