In the early hours of a Saturday morning in the summer of 2019, tragedy struck in the Williamsburg neighborhood of Brooklyn. Jonathan Ramos, a 27-year-old Hispanic male, found himself in a fatal dispute just a block away from his home. On June 22nd, at approximately 2:30 a.m., outside the Cooper Park Houses on Jackson Street, the disagreement escalated, and gunshots shattered the quiet of the night.
