Raphael Kurton, a 27-year-old resident of Brooklyn, New York, tragically lost his life on May 26, 2015. The incident occurred around 9:20 p.m. in front of a deli located at 1624 Newkirk Avenue in Ditmas Park. Kurton was shot multiple times, sustaining fatal injuries to his chest and thigh.
