Jamal Cox Simms, a 29-year-old resident of Crown Heights, Brooklyn, was tragically shot and killed on May 16, 2019. The incident occurred around 7:15 p.m. on the corner of St. Marks Avenue and New York Avenue, just a block away from his home.
