Shamel Boomer, an 18-year-old from Brownsville, Brooklyn, was tragically shot and killed on July 10, 2020. The incident occurred at the Sunborn Hotel in East New York, Brooklyn, where Boomer and two friends had checked in to play video games. According to reports, Boomer was ambushed in the hotel lobby by Malik Bacchus, a member of the Bergen Fam gang.
