On an April evening in 2018, the life of 48-year-old David Ray Garcia, a Hispanic male from Port Orchard, Washington, came to a tragic and violent end. What began as a social gathering with a friend descended into a fatal confrontation. The man he was with, 38-year-old Shawn Michael Dean Hamlin, would later recount a night fueled by alcohol and a disagreement that spiraled out of control.
