Construction crews find a boot with a human foot inside
On June 6, 2009, construction crews on the 3100 block of Harold Drive SE in South Kitsap unearthed a boot with a human foot inside. That sparked a search of the area, and cadaver-sniffing dogs on June 8 pointed investigators to the place where the other bones were buried.
