Kevin Wood, a 29-year-old construction worker and father of two, was tragically shot to death on August 19, 2018, in East Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The incident occurred outside the Cooper Park Houses on Debevoise Avenue near Jackson Street around 4:10 a.m. Kevin was attending a block party when he intervened to defend a friend who had been struck in the head with a bottle.
