In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in April 2023, the courtyard of an apartment complex in the New Lots neighborhood of Brooklyn became the scene of a fatal shooting. Just after 12:30 a.m. on April 26th, police responded to a 911 call at 330 Hinsdale Street. Upon their arrival, they discovered 31-year-old Jason Oliver with a gunshot wound to his chest. Emergency medical services rushed him to Brookdale University Hospital, but his injury proved to be too severe, and he was pronounced dead ...
