Lamar Cunningham, a 20-year-old Black male, was fatally shot in a double shooting in the East Flatbush neighborhood of Brooklyn on Monday, October 6, 2014. The incident occurred just after 10 a.m. on East 53rd Street, between Church and Snyder avenues. Cunningham was behind the wheel of a car when he was shot in the face. A 19-year-old passenger in the vehicle was also wounded, having been shot in the shoulder.
