Ernest Bowman II, a 30-year-old resident of Northwest Washington, was tragically found dead on the sidewalk in District Heights, Maryland, on July 15, 2019. Police responded to a call around 10:30 p.m. and discovered Bowman lying unresponsive with a gunshot wound on the 8800 block of Ritchboro Road. He was pronounced dead at the scene. Authorities quickly determined that this was not a random act of violence and began an investigation to identify the suspects and motives behind the shooting.
