In the early morning hours of July 27, 2016, the life of 28-year-old Desean Chapman, a male resident of the District-Heights area, was tragically cut short. The incident unfolded in the 3200 block of Walters Lane in Forestville, Maryland, where police responded to a call for a shooting at approximately 6:30 a.m. Upon their arrival, officers discovered Chapman suffering from a gunshot wound to his upper body.
