On a Monday afternoon in District Heights, Maryland, a domestic dispute that began earlier in the day escalated into deadly violence. On March 25, 2019, 42-year-old Damon Proctor of Lexington Park, Maryland, was fatally shot outside a townhome in the 5000 block of Daventry Terrace. The incident unfolded at approximately 1:40 p.m., when Proctor, accompanied by three other individuals, arrived at the residence to continue the altercation.
