In the late afternoon of a Tuesday in March 2014, the life of 24-year-old Kristofor A. Washington of Olathe, Kansas, was tragically cut short. On March 4th, police were called to a secluded parking lot in an industrial area in the 8200 block of East 23rd Trafficway in Kansas City, Missouri. There, they discovered the young man slumped in the driver's seat of his car, the victim of a fatal shooting. He was pronounced dead at the scene, and a handgun was reportedly found in his lap.
