Bladimir Berzunza, a 20-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was found dead on September 18, 2016. His body was discovered in a grassy area in the 2200 block of Chelsea Avenue. The police were called to the scene around 9:30 a.m., where they found Berzunza lying in the grass, deceased. Initially, the cause of death was not immediately clear, but the Kansas City Police Department quickly classified the case as a homicide.
