On the evening of August 30, 2024, law enforcement officers in Kansas City, Missouri, were dispatched to a reported shooting near the intersection of East 22nd Street and U.S. Highway 71. Upon arriving at the scene around 7:50 p.m., police entered a wooded area adjacent to the highway where they discovered an unresponsive adult male.
