In the early morning hours of a cold December day in Kansas City, Missouri, a distress call led police to a garage in the 3300 block of Askew Avenue. Inside, they discovered Daniel Moss Sr., a 31-year-old man, unresponsive and suffering from what was initially described as unknown injuries. It was approximately 3:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2023, when first responders arrived at the scene.
