On December 28, 2023, at approximately 3:30 a.m., Kansas City police responded to a medical call at a residence near the intersection of Askew Avenue and East 33rd Street, close to Central High School. Upon arrival, officers found 31-year-old Daniel Moss in the garage, unresponsive and suffering from unknown injuries.
