A day of family fun tragically ended in heartbreak for the family of nine-year-old Dominic Young Jr. On the night of January 20, 2018, Dominic, a male, was a passenger in a car being driven by his father through Kansas City, Missouri, when he was struck by a stray bullet. The vehicle he was in became caught in the crossfire of a rolling gun battle between at least two other vehicles near Emanuel Cleaver II Boulevard and Bruce R. Watkins Drive.
