In the early morning hours of July 1, 2019, the life of 59-year-old Reginald Rembert, a male resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically cut short. Police responded to calls of shots fired shortly before 6 a.m. and discovered Rembert's body on a sidewalk near the intersection of 35th Street and Montgall Avenue. He had sustained an apparent gunshot wound. His death marked the 66th homicide in Kansas City that year.
