In the autumn of 2021, the life of Michael Williams, a 33-year-old Black / African American man, was tragically cut short in Kansas City, Missouri. On the evening of October 25th, the Kansas City Police Department received a call regarding a shooting in the 500 block of East 105th Street. Upon their arrival at approximately 9:30 p.m., officers discovered Williams in a parking lot, suffering from gunshot wounds.
