On December 8, 2021, authorities in Kansas City, Missouri, launched a homicide investigation following the discovery of a deceased male in a residential neighborhood. The victim was identified as 54-year-old Edmon E. Alexander Jr. Police officers were dispatched to the area near 28th Street and Bales Avenue around 7:15 p.m. after receiving reports of a shooting.
