Eric Verner, a 51-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically shot and killed on May 5, 2022. The incident occurred near East Gregory Boulevard and James A. Reed Road. According to reports, Kansas City police received a call around 11:30 p.m. on the night of the shooting. Upon arrival, they found Verner with gunshot wounds on the front porch of a home. He was immediately transported to a hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
