In the late hours of a Thursday evening in Kansas City, Missouri, a burst of violence cut short the life of Eric Verner. On May 5, 2022, just before 11:30 p.m., police responded to a call regarding a shooting in the 8300 block of East Gregory Boulevard. Upon their arrival, they discovered 51-year-old Eric Verner in front of a residence, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds. He was a male victim.
