Jorge L. Calderon-Ruiz, a 21-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on October 10, 2015. His death was the result of a double homicide that occurred near a BP gas station in the 4800 block of Independence Avenue. On that fateful day, Jorge and another victim, Pablo Lopez, were fatally shot. The incident was captured on surveillance video, which showed the suspect, Louie S.
