On the night of August 10, 2020, officers from the Raytown Police Department responded to reports of gunfire in the 8400 block of Lane Drive, a residential area in the suburbs of Kansas City, Missouri. Upon arrival at the scene around 9:20 p.m., authorities discovered a 2018 Chevy Equinox parked with its doors ajar. Inside the driver's seat of the vehicle sat 19-year-old Lucas N.
