Robert Lee Ramirez, a 34-year-old male of Hispanic ethnicity from Corpus Christi, Texas, was tragically shot on April 11, 2016, in the chest in the middle of Van Cleve Drive in the city's Westside. He succumbed to his injuries nearly three months later on June 29, 2016, due to delayed medical complications from the gunshot wound. The Nueces County Medical Examiner ruled his death a homicide.
