Albert Pelayo Casoreno, a 41-year-old man, was tragically killed on August 7, 2022, in San Antonio, Texas. The incident occurred near a dumpster in the 7100 block of U.S. Highway 90 West. The shooting was caught on video by a camera at a nearby VIA transit center, showing Ramirez driving a van and shooting Casoreno. On September 12, police received a tip from a witness who said that Ramirez confessed to shooting and killing Casoreno. The witness also stated that Ramirez did not drive his van for a week out of fear that he would be recognized. A warrant for Ramirez's arrest was issued on February 1, 2023, and he was arrested the same day. He remains in the Bexar County Jail on a $200,000 bond.
