In the pre-dawn hours of a Monday in Saint Louis, Missouri, the life of 17-year-old Davaun Winters, a male, came to a violent and tragic end. On July 15, 2019, police responded to a call around 3:50 a.m. and found Winters in the Mount Pleasant neighborhood at the intersection of Broadway and Osceola. He was inside a car that had crashed and was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. Medical responders pronounced him deceased at the scene.
