On the morning of April 26, 2017, police officers in St. Louis County, Missouri, responded to a distress call regarding a shooting in the suburb of Pine Lawn. Upon arriving at the 4500 block of Rosewood Avenue around 10:13 a.m., authorities discovered a chaotic scene involving three victims who had sustained fatal gunshot wounds. Among the deceased was 29-year-old Andrew Green, a Black male who was found lifeless at the location.
The violence claimed two other lives that day: 29-year-old Calvin Walker and 23-year-old Marquise Cooper.
Investigators determined that the incident was a triple homicide. One of the men was discovered inside a black SUV, while the other two victims were found nearby—one on the sidewalk and another in a yard. The North County Police Cooperative immediately requested the assistance of the Major Case Squad of Greater St. Louis to lead the investigation. Law enforcement officials canvassed the area and released descriptions of vehicles of interest, specifically searching for a white, older-model Chevrolet Impala equipped with a spotlight on the driver's side, as well as a black Nissan Altima.
Despite the activation of the Major Case Squad and public pleas from Andrew Green’s mother, Lanna Green, the case faced significant challenges. In the years following the murders, the investigation went cold with no suspects taken into custody. Family members and community leaders held vigils and kept pressure on the public to come forward with information, but no arrests have been reported in connection with the deaths of Green, Walker, and Cooper. The case remains classified as unsolved.
