In the early hours of a Wednesday morning in the Saint Louis suburb of Jennings, Missouri, a mother made a devastating discovery that would alter her life forever. On May 29, 2013, the body of 21-year-old Oshay Safari Caves was found. He had been shot and was located on the ground just outside of his vehicle in the 5200 block of Hamilton Avenue. It was his own mother who stumbled upon the tragic scene at approximately 2:15 a.m. and immediately alerted the authorities.
