On July 29, 2024, at approximately 5 p.m., St. Louis police responded to a reported shooting in Carondelet Lions Park, located in the 300 block of Davis Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered the body of 19-year-old Travion Ferguson, who had sustained a fatal gunshot wound to the head. Emergency Medical Services pronounced him dead at the scene.
