On May 6, 2024, 36-year-old Darryl Mischeaux was fatally shot outside his home in Jennings, Missouri, during an attempted car theft. The incident occurred around 8:40 p.m. in the 5300 block of Fletcher Street when Mischeaux confronted individuals attempting to steal his Kia Stinger.
