Abdulbasid Y. Yassin, a 19-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically shot on December 28, 2020, near East 8th Street and Prospect Avenue. Responding to a shooting call shortly after 8 p.m., Kansas City Police Department (KCPD) officers found Yassin unresponsive at the scene. He was immediately transported to a hospital, where he was listed in critical condition.
