On January 26, 2024, 24-year-old Torrie’aunn Ruth was fatally shot following an altercation inside the Country View Market, located near East 58th Street and Swope Parkway in Kansas City, Missouri. According to witnesses, an argument between Ruth and another individual escalated, resulting in gunfire that struck Ruth. He was found unresponsive outside the store and pronounced dead at the scene.
