In the late hours of a summer night in Kansas City, Missouri, a young boy's life was tragically cut short. Eight-year-old Brian C. Bartlett, a male, was asleep in his bed on Saturday, August 10, 2019, when the peace of his home in the 8300 block of Tracy Avenue was shattered by a barrage of gunfire. More than two dozen bullets tore through the house, striking the sleeping child and his mother.
