Jordan B. Smith, a 55-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, passed away on September 13, 2019. He was born on August 18, 1964, in Berkeley, California, and was known for his contributions to journalism. Smith's death occurred at Truman Medical Center following a shooting incident at a convenience store on Independence Avenue in Kansas City. He initially suffered life-threatening injuries from the shooting and was transported to the hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
