On October 1, 2023, 20-year-old Jaden Brown of Kansas City, Missouri, was fatally shot in a double homicide near 61st Street and Raytown Road in Raytown, Missouri. The incident occurred around 2:15 p.m., when police responded to reports of gunfire and found Brown and 19-year-old Brendon Fisher, also of Kansas City, deceased from apparent gunshot wounds.
