Death by Force

On July 13, 2023, at approximately 5:30 p.m., Kansas City police officers were flagged down near Linwood Boulevard and Troost Avenue by a woman reporting that her passenger had been shot. The victim, identified as 47-year-old Juan Zollar, was found unresponsive inside the vehicle with apparent gunshot wounds. He was transported to a local hospital, where he later succumbed to his injuries.
