Kieanthony Rankins, a 21-year-old resident of Kansas City, Missouri, tragically lost his life on February 6, 2019. The incident occurred at an apartment complex located in the 8200 block of Troost Avenue. On that fateful evening, officers responded to a call just before 8:30 p.m. Upon arrival, they discovered Rankins had been shot. Emergency Medical Services (EMS) pronounced him dead at the scene.
