On July 26, 2015, a violent incident unfolded during a birthday celebration in the Northeast area of Kansas City, Missouri. Antonio Hernandez, a 31-year-old Hispanic male, was in attendance at a residence located in the 400 block of Colorado Avenue, near Thompson Avenue. The gathering, which extended into the early morning hours, was disrupted when an altercation broke out among some of the guests. The dispute escalated rapidly, leading to gunfire that struck multiple individuals at the scene.
