Danny Lamont Dean, aged 31, tragically lost his life on September 10, 2015, in Kansas City, Missouri, as a result of gun violence. Dean's death was a consequence of a robbery gone wrong, where he was shot and killed during the theft of cocaine. The incident occurred when Shawn Burkhalter and Joshua Nesbitt, involved in a drug-trafficking conspiracy, targeted Dean. They used a Rock River Arms AR-15, a 5.56-caliber semi-automatic rifle, to commit the murder.
