On April 29, 2023, Joshua Ellison, 29, was fatally shot in Kansas City, Missouri. The incident occurred shortly after 1 a.m. near Gregory and Paseo Boulevards, where officers discovered Ellison and another victim, 40-year-old Terry Lovingood, both suffering from gunshot wounds inside a white Jeep Cherokee.
