In the early afternoon hours of Sunday, June 2, 2024, the life of 29-year-old William Carl Wright, a male resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically cut short. Near the intersection of East 9th Street and Van Brunt Boulevard, first responders discovered Wright unresponsive on the sidewalk, suffering from apparent gunshot wounds.
