On February 1, 2023, 19-year-old Markhi A. Williams was fatally shot in Kansas City, Missouri. He arrived at a local hospital shortly after 11 p.m. via private vehicle and was pronounced dead upon arrival. Investigations revealed that the shooting occurred near East 71st Street and Askew Avenue, where police subsequently located a crime scene.
