In the early morning hours of October 15, 2022, the life of 64-year-old Tony Caldwell, a male resident of Kansas City, Missouri, was tragically cut short. Just before 7:30 a.m., the sound of gunshots pierced the quiet near the 7100 block of East 112th Street, prompting a call to the Kansas City Police Department.
Officers were dispatched to the scene, and upon their arrival, they were flagged down by a concerned citizen who directed them to the nearby 7000 block of East 113th Street.
There, they discovered Tony Caldwell suffering from gunshot wounds. Emergency medical crews were called to the location, but despite their efforts, Caldwell was pronounced dead at the scene.
