On a summer evening in Richmond, Virginia, the life of 20-year-old Darryl Jordan, Jr. was tragically cut short. The young Black man from Petersburg was fatally shot on July 3, 2023. The incident unfolded in the Whitcomb Court area, specifically in the 1900 block of Raven Street. Just before 9:25 p.m., Richmond Police were dispatched to the scene following reports of a shooting.
