A man is is shot to death outside his business
In the early hours of August 24, 2016, the life of a 30-year-old male store owner, Habeeb A. Hafeed, was cut short in a fatal shooting outside his business in Richmond, Virginia. Known affectionately as "Sam" by friends and family, Hafeed was killed in the parking lot of his store, Sam's Market, located at the corner of North 30th Street and Nine Mile Road. The incident occurred shortly after midnight, a time when the business was already closed for the day.
