On April 11, 2024, at approximately 6:58 p.m., Richmond Police responded to a shooting in the 1600 block of Spotsylvania Street. Upon arrival, officers discovered two individuals, 43-year-old Sherwarren Fleming and 40-year-old Monique Lambert, unresponsive outside a residence. Both had sustained apparent gunshot wounds and were pronounced dead at the scene.
